The annual general meeting is just over a month away and we would like to remind our members how important it is for this event to take place.
The Gantry Youth Theatre is a registered charity – without a committee the Gantry Youth Theatre cannot run.
We will be looking for new committee members and a new chairperson! The main responsibility for a committee member is to attend monthly meetings (10 a year) and assist with some of the main productions. The date for the meeting is below and we would be grateful for your attendance.
The AGM will take place at Bitterne Park School at 6.30pm on Friday 29 April 2016.
Award winning Gantry Youth Theatre is looking for tutors to join our team. Strong Drama/English/Dance background, teaching experience helpful but training can be given to the right candidates. Minimum 2 hour blocks of work available, early evenings at Bitterne Park and Regents Park. Holiday workshops and directing opportunities.
All successful candidates will need a DBS check which we will fund.
We are a registered charity and, we believe, Southamptons’ oldest youth theatre. Our ethos is to encourage children to develop, build confidence and be the best they can. (Whilst having a lot of fun on the way.)
